Have you talked with God today?

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Prayer is such a needful thing in the Christian life, and yet it is one of the things that we neglect the most in our Christian lives. Often, we will pray when something goes wrong in our lives or when we really need something in our lives, but all those times in-between we have a tendency to ignore God. How do you get to know a person? Through communication with that person. This is exactly what prayer is: communication with God. You can't know God without communicating with God. Here we see God giving us an invitation to come and communicate with Him. God is telling us to come and talk to Him, come tell Him our burdens, our problems, and our needs. God tells us that He will answer us; meaning that not only will God listen to our every word, but God will respond as well. God can do much more than just listen to our prayers, He answers them as well. Prayer is the only force in the universe that bends the ear of the Almighty God. So let's take this open invitation from God to come and talk to Him. The promise in this verse is that God will show us what He can do in our lives. God wants us to bring these problems to Him because He can show Himself mighty in our lives. So, let’s talk with God today. Let's get to know God better and watch God do these great and mighty things in our lives.
